To all those yammering wingnuts out there who think we liberals “hate” Sarah Palin because she’s pretty, she’s blue collar or because her daughter didn’t abort her child:
We do not hate Sarah Palin for those reasons. However, we do hate stupidity and, when faced with the staggering amount of sheer ignorance that comes out of this woman’s mouth, our brains catch on fire. When faced with the fact that the Republicans actually put this woman on their ticket as a potential vice president, we spontaneously combust.
Because there’s no amount of folksy, big-haired, winking “you betchas” that can make up for this woman’s apparently infinite lack of knowledge of how the White House works. Maybe she thought someone would give her a Vice President’s Guide to Branches of Federal Government once she got there. Or something. Don’tchaknow.
I mean, seriously. Who the fuck thinks there is a “Department of Law” at the White House?

Well, it’s not just that she’s an idiot. She’s an idiot who espouses one of the nastiest, most selfish, un-Christian, and hateful ideologies ever created. While her ideology has only killed a few million people (but they were all brown so they don’t count) as vs. the tens of millions that the Nazis and Soviets killed, the fact that they were too incompetent to kill as many people as Stalin doesn’t make them any less evil.
